Job Title: Shipping / Receiving Manager

Location: On-site (no remote work)

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and dependable Shipping / Receiving Manager with a strong background in the structural steel industry. The ideal candidate will be a skilled multitasker, with previous managerial experience, and a passion for long-term employment in a dynamic environment. This position is a working supervisor role, where approximately 50% of the time will be spent operating a forklift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the shipping and receiving department
  • Supervise a team, ensuring efficient operations and timely delivery of materials
  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods
  • Operate a forklift to handle materials, equipment, and inventory
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the structural steel industry
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to long-term employment
  • Forklift certification and experience required

Hourly Wage: $30 - $32 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:45pm
