Senior Family Law Attorney

Are you an experienced Family Law Attorney looking to join a respected and growing practice? Our client is seeking a Senior Family Law Attorney with 10+ years of experience to handle a sophisticated family law caseload, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, high-net-worth asset division, and other complex domestic relations matters.

This is an outstanding opportunity to lead complex client matters, serve as first-chair counsel, mentor junior attorneys, and play a key leadership role within a collaborative and successful legal team while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote position based in Washington State.

What You'll Do

  • Manage complex family law matters from inception through resolution
  • Serve as lead counsel in mediations, settlement conferences, hearings, and trials
  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate in contested matters
  • Handle discovery, depositions, expert coordination, and case strategy development
  • Advise clients on custody, support, property division, high-net-worth assets, and other complex family law issues
  • Negotiate favorable settlements while providing strategic legal guidance
  • Maintain regular client communication and deliver exceptional client service
  • Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with legal support staff
  • Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements

Qualifications

  • J.D. and active Washington State Bar admission
  • 10+ years of family law experience
  • Extensive experience independently handling complex contested family law matters
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, trial, and case management skills
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy abilities
  • Proven ability to manage a sophisticated caseload while maintaining exceptional client service
  • Leadership and mentoring experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
