Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Location: Temecula, California
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 annually
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient behavioral health team in Southern California. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing exceptional mental health care in a supportive and collaborative environment. The position includes the flexibility of working two days per week via telehealth from home (on a rotational basis).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental health histories and diagnostic assessments.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with appropriate follow-up care.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including psychoeducation and crisis management.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • See clients ranging from ages 8+

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatry (PMHNP certification required).
  • Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California.
  • Eligibility to prescribe controlled substances.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in psychiatric care, preferably with diverse populations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.

Additional Incentives

  • $10,000 Sign-On Bonus: Provided in two equal parts. $5,000 on start date; $5,000 after 6 months of full-time employment.
  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $3,500 in-state relocation, or up to $5,500 out of state relocation.
