The Ideal Candidate will have the following:
3+ years working in billing/ collections, preferably in a defense law firm environment
Experience in legal billing software- Clio, Aderant or Elite
Bachelors Degree in finance, accounting or equivalent preferred but not required
The Job Duties Include:
Adhere to the Law Firm’s billing and collections policies.
Maintain accurate records of client billing guidelines, agreements, and collections activity.
Prepare and process monthly invoices, ensuring compliance with Firm policies and client-specific guidelines.
Review and verify the accuracy of bills and required supporting documentation, including expense reports.
Submit finalized invoices to the appropriate recipients via mail, email, or e-billing systems.
