We are partnering with a reputable and highly regarded masonry contractor specializing in both historic restoration and new construction projects. With years of experience and a solid reputation for delivering exceptional craftsmanship, our client’s team is committed to excellence in every aspect of their work. They are currently seeking a skilled Masonry Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of their masonry projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction You will be responsible for managing a diverse range of restoration and new construction masonry projects. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who can lead projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. You will serve as the key liaison between the company, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Management: Oversee multiple masonry projects, managing the scope, schedule, and budget from initiation through to completion.
    • Restoration Expertise: Apply your knowledge of historic masonry restoration techniques to ensure projects meet preservation standards while maintaining structural integrity.
    • New Construction: Manage the masonry scope of new construction projects, ensuring quality and safety standards are adhered to.
    • Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular progress updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Team Leadership: Lead a team of masons, subcontractors, and laborers, ensuring they are motivated, well-managed, and working efficiently to meet project goals.
    • Material & Vendor Coordination: Manage the procurement of materials, working with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective sourcing.
    • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of workmanship, ensuring all masonry work complies with project specifications, safety regulations, and building codes.
    • Safety Compliance: Oversee job site safety, ensuring that all team members adhere to OSHA standards and that the site is safe for workers and visitors.
    • Problem-Solving & Risk Management: Identify potential risks or challenges on each project and implement strategies to mitigate issues related to scheduling, budgets, and quality.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Masonry Project Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
    • Restoration Knowledge: Experience with masonry restoration projects, including working with historic buildings and understanding preservation techniques.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
    • Software Proficiency: Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
    • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams effectively.
    • Education: A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is also considered.
    • Certifications: OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
