Custom Applicator in New Holland

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Custom Applicator to join our team.  This role is responsible for safely and accurately apply crop protection and crop nutrient products to farmers fields while providing excellent customer service.  The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate and maintain application equipment.

Custom Applicator Responsibilities:

• Safely operate application equipment to apply fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and pesticides to customer fields according to work orders
• Accurately calibrate and maintain equipment to ensure proper application rates and coverage
• Load and unload products following safety guidelines and company policies
• Assist in mixing, blending, and delivering products to growers as needed
• Maintain accurate application records and necessary documentation for compliance with state and federal regulations
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
• Provide outstanding customer service

Custom Applicator Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience operating agricultural equipment
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a CDL
• Commercial Applicator's License or willingness to obtain one
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons
