🔥 Fire Protection Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Fire Protection Project Manager to oversee fire protection projects from kickoff through closeout. This role requires strong knowledge of fire alarm and/or fire sprinkler systems, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with field teams, customers, and AHJs.
Responsibilities
- Manage fire protection projects from contract award to completion
- Coordinate installation schedules, inspections, and final acceptance
- Oversee project budgets, change orders, and cost tracking
- Work closely with engineers, designers, field technicians, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, local fire codes, and project specifications
- Communicate with customers, general contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction
- Review submittals, drawings, and closeout documentation
- Lead job meetings and provide regular project updates
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in fire protection (alarm and/or sprinkler)
- Previous project management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of NFPA 13, 25, and/or NFPA 72
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software
- NICET certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
