Our client, a well-established and consistently profitable engineering consulting firm in Columbus, is adding an Electrical Design Engineer. The firm focuses on data center and telecommunications projects and has more work than it can staff, so this is a chance to build a long-term career on mission-critical work.
What you'll do:
- Design electrical systems for data center and telecommunications facilities
- Produce power distribution, one-line, and lighting designs and construction documents in Revit
- Run short-circuit and coordination studies in SKM PowerTools
- Work closely with mechanical engineers and project teams from concept through construction
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EIT or PE a plus)
- Electrical design experience, ideally with a consulting engineering firm
- Revit and SKM experience preferred
- Data center, mission-critical, or telecom project experience strongly preferred
- Able to work fully onsite in the Columbus, OH area (no hybrid or remote)
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
