Job Description

Steel professionals near Weatherby Lake: a fabricator and erector handling structural and miscellaneous steel packages wants an Estimator / Project Manager on its team. If you're early- to mid-career and want to grow on both the estimating and project leadership sides, this one is worth a look.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare bids and proposals, gathering quotes for detailing, erection, and coatings
• Keep project costs in check and process RFIs and submittals
• Estimate and take off structural and miscellaneous steel packages
• Serve as the link between general contractors, detailers, the shop, and field crews
• Own the schedule, budget, and change orders on awarded jobs through fabrication and erection

Qualifications:

• Comfortable reading structural and architectural drawings
• Degree in construction management or engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred
• Working knowledge of structural and miscellaneous metals scopes
• 2-8 years of steel estimating, project management, or related construction experience
• Experience with estimating software is a plus

Compensation: $75,000 - $105,000 per year, plus a sign-on bonus for top candidates from competitors and a yearly bonus opportunity.
