Job Description

We are partnering with our client to identify a Transactional Attorney to join its growing practice in Phoenix, Arizona.

This is a strong opportunity for a junior-to-mid-level attorney looking to build their experience in business transactions while working closely with experienced attorneys in a collaborative, deal-focused environment.


Position: Transactional Attorney

About the Role

This role focuses on a variety of business and corporate transactions, offering hands-on exposure to deal work and client interaction. Attorneys will work directly with leadership and clients on transactional matters, with the opportunity to grow into a more independent role over time.

Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience will be considered if they demonstrate strong transactional aptitude.


Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate transactional and business agreements
  • Assist with corporate structuring, governance, and compliance
  • Support and manage business transactions and deal execution
  • Conduct due diligence and prepare transaction documents
  • Work directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidance
  • Collaborate with attorneys on deal strategy and execution

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of transactional or corporate experience
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Interest in business transactions and deal work
  • Arizona Bar admission required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $120,000 – $220,000 DOE + bonus opportunities
  • Origination credit (starting at ~10%), regardless of who services the work
  • Additional upside based on portable business
  • 130 billable hours per month (~1560 annually)
  • 401(k) with employer match (after 1 year)
  • Health (BCBS of AZ), dental, and vision fully covered for employee
  • Business development and CLE support
  • In-office role (Phoenix)

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience with cannabis industry transactions
