Job Description:

As a Corporate Paralegal, you will play an integral role in supporting our legal team and clients in all aspects of corporate law, with a particular focus on insurance defense, personal injry. Your responsibilities will involve conducting in-depth research, drafting legal documents, assisting with transactional matters, and providing administrative support to our attorneys. Your attention to detail, legal acumen, and ability to collaborate with the team will contribute to the success of our clients and the firm.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough legal research on various corporate matters to support attorneys in case preparations.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, agreements, and other pertinent legal materials with precision and adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist in due diligence efforts, including document review, case management and collaboration of all tasks.
  • Coordinate and manage the preparation and filing of corporate documents for business formations, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
  • Assist in maintaining corporate records, minute books, and databases, ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Provide administrative support, including organizing meetings, scheduling appointments, and maintaining communication with clients.
  • Collaborate effectively with attorneys and other legal staff, offering your insights and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulation matters.

 

Qualifications And Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience as a paralegal, with experience is insurance and personal injury.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate and franchising legal principles, regulations, and practices.
  • Proficiency in legal research, document drafting, and contract review.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in using legal research databases and case management software.
