Senior Cost Accountant Controller

gpac is partnering with a tried and true manufacturing company/client. This company is methodically growing and seeks a higher level Cost Accountant. This Controller Cost Accountant will report to and work directly with the VP of Finance and work with the department leaders in the company.

To be a leader in this company, you will need to be IN Office in the extended Sioux City, IOWA Metro area. (closest sizeable city.)

The company is collaborative, focused, client and supply demand driven. You will be the right hand Accountant Controller and go-to person for all of the latest Financial Statements, KPIs, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports needed for the company.

Requirements for Senior Cost Accountant / Controller:

• CPA is highly desired. If you are crafting the accounting on financial statements with manufacturing companies in Florida, in the extended Jacksonville metro area, and want to work for a private company, this is an opportunity to make the switch Q1!
• 5 years of public tax and audit experience in a PUBLIC firm (or manufacturing firm, like automotive or anything using COST Accounting)
• Ability to forecast, recommend purchase, and keep up the best inventory value
• History of supplying accurate reports, KPIs, financial statements to company members as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Regulatory understanding and compliance
• True ability to lead
