Transactional Associate Attorney – Financial Services (Los Angeles, CA)

A premier boutique law firm is seeking a mid-level Transactional Associate Attorney to join its team in Downtown Los Angeles. About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have experience representing lenders in a range of financial services matters, including commercial loan documentation, regulatory compliance, and loan servicing. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate commercial loan documentation for a wide variety of financial transactions
  • Advise clients on loan servicing issues and regulatory compliance
  • Provide legal guidance on federal and state banking regulations
  • Work directly with clients, partners, and financial institutions
  • Collaborate with a close-knit team on complex transactions and ongoing client needs

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • 4–8 years of experience in transactional law, with a focus on financial services and commercial lending
  • Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
  • Experience with lender-side representation is highly preferred
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment
