Position: Paralegal / Assistant Title Closer
Location: Ocean County, NJ | Work Setting: Onsite

Overview:
Our client is seeking a motivated Paralegal / Assistant Title Closer to join their title department. This role is ideal for candidates with a paralegal or legal support background who are eager to learn the title industry. You will play a key role in supporting clearance, funding, and closing coordination on a variety of transactions, both commercial and potentially residential.

Responsibilities:

• Assist closers with clearance and funding processes
• Support commercial and residential transactions as needed
• Coordinate and manage time-sensitive closing documentation
• Review files to ensure deal documentation is complete
• Collaborate with the title team to move files efficiently toward closing
• Provide general paralegal support within the title department

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal or in a title/legal support role
• Exposure to commercial real estate transactions is a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Trainable, eager to learn, and adaptable to new processes

Compensation:

• $65,000 – $85,000 annually, flexible for strong candidates
