Seeking a Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and consulting engagements with a focus on automotive / dealership clients and pass-through entities. This role will oversee tax planning, preparation, and review, manage client relationships, and provide leadership to staff while working closely with partners on complex engagements.
Responsibilities
Manage tax compliance and consulting engagements from planning through completion
Review partnership, S-corp, and individual tax returns
Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
Maintain strong client relationships
Manage engagement workflow, staffing, and billing
Review engagement profitability and budgets
Research complex tax issues
Mentor and develop staff
Stay current on tax law changes
Participate in business development and networking activities
Collaborate with other service lines to support client needs
Qualifications
CPA, JD, LLM, or Master’s in Taxation required
5+ years public accounting tax experience
Experience with dealership / automotive clients preferred OR strong pass-through experience
Prior experience managing engagements and staff
Strong communication and leadership skills
Experience with tax software and research tools
