Job Description

Seeking a Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and consulting engagements with a focus on automotive / dealership clients and pass-through entities. This role will oversee tax planning, preparation, and review, manage client relationships, and provide leadership to staff while working closely with partners on complex engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage tax compliance and consulting engagements from planning through completion

  • Review partnership, S-corp, and individual tax returns

  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients

  • Maintain strong client relationships

  • Manage engagement workflow, staffing, and billing

  • Review engagement profitability and budgets

  • Research complex tax issues

  • Mentor and develop staff

  • Stay current on tax law changes

  • Participate in business development and networking activities

  • Collaborate with other service lines to support client needs

Qualifications

  • CPA, JD, LLM, or Master’s in Taxation required

  • 5+ years public accounting tax experience

  • Experience with dealership / automotive clients preferred OR strong pass-through experience

  • Prior experience managing engagements and staff

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Experience with tax software and research tools
