Job Opportunity: Associate Attorney (Real Estate & Assessment Recovery)

Location: Brentwood, TN (On-site, M-F)

Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 + Standard Benefits

Experience: 1+ Years (Junior/Entry-Level candidates encouraged)

Are you a licensed attorney ready to transition from theory to practice in the Nashville area? A premier regional firm is seeking a motivated Associate to join their Assessment Recovery Group in Brentwood.

If you find the "back-office" associate track stale, this role offers the direct mentorship and courtroom exposure you need to build a high-level litigation foundation in a thriving market.

The Role

This is a hands-on litigation position focused on high-volume, high-impact real estate matters. You won’t just be researching; you will be managing files and gaining practical experience in:

  • Assessment Recovery: Helping communities maintain financial health by recovering delinquent dues.

  • Litigation & Execution: Securing money judgments and navigating judgment execution.

  • Property Law: Handling foreclosures and complex real property disputes.

  • Creditor Rights: Managing bankruptcy matters from a creditor's perspective.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD): Must be admitted to practice law (TN license preferred; or eligible for comity/attaining license).

  • Relevant Background: Experience in Collections, Bankruptcy, or Litigation is a significant plus.

  • Skills: Strong communication skills for public speaking and client-facing responsibilities.
