Key Responsibilities
This role is a blend of specialized medical-legal work and general litigation support:
Medical Records Management: Requesting, organizing, and summarizing medical records.
Chronologies: Creating detailed timelines of events for complex cases.
Litigation Support: Scheduling depositions, locating expert witnesses, and assisting with trial preparation.
Administrative Tasks: Occasional dictation and general file management.
Qualifications
Experience: Prior experience handling records and creating summaries is required.
Background: Open to candidates with either Plaintiff or Defense experience.
Education: No paralegal certification is required for this role, but experience is a must.
Traits: A proactive attitude and the ability to work well within a small team are essential.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 (commensurate with experience).
