A respected law firm is looking to add an experienced Mass Tort / Class Action Associate Attorney to its growing litigation practice.
This is an opportunity for a plaintiff-side attorney who wants meaningful responsibility in complex litigation and the opportunity to work on matters involving individuals and groups of plaintiffs.
Manage complex litigation matters from initial case evaluation through resolution
Assist with and take responsibility for pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, and trial preparation
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
Work with clients throughout the litigation process
Handle matters in state and federal courts
Assist with case intake, investigation, and evaluation of potential claims
Work collaboratively with experienced attorneys on complex plaintiff-side matters
3+ years of litigation experience
Experience with mass tort, class action, personal injury, products liability, or another complex plaintiff-side practice
Experience handling matters in state and federal courts
Strong understanding of civil litigation procedure
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills
Ability to manage multiple matters and take ownership of assignments
Admission to both the New Jersey and New York Bars in good standing
A background in science, medicine, or another technical field is a plus but is not required.
$150,000–$165,000 base salary
