A well-established and highly regarded litigation firm in Connecticut is seeking a driven Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on experience across a diverse caseload while working in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

About the Opportunity

This role offers exposure to a broad range of litigation matters, with a primary focus on personal injury, while also remaining open to candidates with experience in medical malpractice, probate, criminal law, or general civil litigation. The firm values attorneys who are adaptable, motivated, and capable of managing cases with increasing independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all phases of litigation from intake through resolution
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, and mediations
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and development
  • Maintain strong client communication and case management practices

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of litigation experience (personal injury strongly preferred)
  • Admitted to the Connecticut Bar and in good standing
  • Admission to the New York Bar is a plus, but not required
  • Strong writing, analytical, and courtroom skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
  • Professional transparency regarding any past grievances (not disqualifying, but must be disclosed)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $100,000 – $135,000 (commensurate with experience)
