CNC Machinist

We are seeking a self-motivated CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for planning, programming, and making parts to meet drawing specifications using both manual and CNC mills and lathes. The successful candidate will be confident in their abilities to manufacture tight tolerance parts and comfortable with manufacturing short runs. Set up and operate CNC equipment such as Haas vertical mills, Okuma lathes, and large horizontal boring mills to produce precision metal components. Perform routine adjustments, program edits, and quality checks to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Key Duties:

  • Set up and run CNC mills, lathes, and boring mills (Haas, Okuma, Mazak)

  • Interpret blueprints and part specifications to ensure accuracy

  • Load programs, adjust offsets, and perform tool changes

  • Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions

  • Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety protocols

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years CNC machining experience preferred

  • Familiarity with G-code, Fanuc or Okuma controls

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a production environment

Work Schedule:

  • Generally first shift Monday-Friday
  • Overtime available
