Architect – Senior Project Manager

A prominent and successful Architecture and Design Firm in Phoenix, Arizona is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing a variety of Multifamily, Student Housing, and Senior Living projects throughout the region. If you’re looking to join a top-notch professional organization with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, let’s talk!

Education:

• B.S degree in Architecture required.
• Registered Architect (RA) preferred (not required).

Requirements:

• 7+ years of project management experience overseeing all phases of projects.
• Must have strong experience with Multifamily, Student Housing, or Senior Living projects.  
• Experience with Type-5 Construction utilizing wood framing or other approved materials.
• Proficiency in Revit & AutoCAD.
• Strong technical, code, and detailing skills for quality documentation
• Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment.
• Proactive written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing a variety of projects from the initial design concept through completion.
• Supervise and mentor a staff of junior architects and designers.
• Consulting with clients on creation, presentation, and design concepts.
• Define project scope and design criteria.
• Managing scheduling, estimates, budgets, and timelines.
• Review drawings, models, images, etc.
• Leadership skills, ability to build relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
