As a Claims Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting clients and internal teams by ensuring claims are processed efficiently, accurately, and with empathy. You’ll serve as the go-to resource for claim-related inquiries, updates, and documentation—helping to create a smooth, transparent experience for policyholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for clients regarding claims status, documentation, and resolution updates
File and process new claims promptly and accurately with carriers
Follow up regularly with carriers, adjusters, and clients to monitor claim progress and resolve outstanding issues
Review policy details to verify coverage and ensure claims are handled appropriately
Maintain accurate records and documentation in the agency management system
Support account managers and producers by providing claim updates and identifying potential service concerns
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
1–3+ years of experience in claims support, claims processing, or insurance service (P&C preferred)
Familiarity with insurance policy language and claims workflows
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office and carrier portals
Insurance license preferred or willingness to obtain per agency guidelines
