Bring your OSHA know-how to a steel fabrication shop that takes safety seriously. A fabrication company in Katy, TX, is hiring a Safety Coordinator to lead its safety programs on the shop floor and help the crew build safer habits. You can expect about 10 hours of overtime a week, incredible benefits, and room to grow your career.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep OSHA documentation and records current and lead incident investigations
• Work alongside shop leadership to grow a strong safety culture
• Perform audits and inspections, and follow up until hazards are corrected
• Manage the daily safety programs across the shop
• Teach safety trainings, toolbox talks, and new-hire orientations

Qualifications

• Strong communicator who is comfortable on a fabrication shop floor
• Background in construction, fabrication, or manufacturing safety
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards
• Able to work on-site in Katy, TX, including about 10 hours of overtime each week
