Surety Bond Manager

We are seeking for experienced leader from the Surety space to lead a commercial and construction bond department at a regional P&C brokerage.  

With over 65 years across NJ, this agency has held a Best Practices designation for multiple consecutive years and continues to grow, making them a great place to take the next step in your career. 

We are seeking a seasoned Surety leader to guide our bond division through its next phase of growth. This individual will oversee underwriting, production, and client relationships across contract and commercial surety, while mentoring a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop surety underwriting and production teams
• Drive profitable growth and manage portfolio performance
• Strengthen relationships with brokers, obligees, and carrier partners
• Set underwriting authority, risk appetite, and best practices

Qualifications

• 10+ years of surety experience, with prior leadership background
• Deep expertise in contract surety and financial analysis
• Strong industry network and a record of results
