A leading El Paso law firm with a regional Southwest practice is seeking a labor and employment attorney to counsel and defend employers in workplace matters.
Responsibilities
- Advise employers on compliance, policies, hiring, discipline, and terminations
- Defend clients in employment litigation and administrative charges
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and employment agreements
- Take and defend depositions and appear in court
Requirements
- Employer-side labor and employment experience
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas
- Litigation experience, including depositions and motion practice
- Strong research and writing skills; Spanish a plus
Compensation and benefits
- Top-market competitive compensation, based on experience
Work arrangement
Full-time, in office in El Paso.
