Position: Professional Liability Defense Attorney

Key Responsibilities

• Manage defense litigation for professional liability claims from inception through resolution

• Draft substantive pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Conduct and defend depositions, manage discovery, and prepare for hearings or trials

• Interface directly with high-profile clients, carrier representatives, and key stakeholders

• Collaborate closely with partner-led litigation teams to develop creative strategy

Qualifications

• Active Idaho bar license in good standing (or eligible for prompt reciprocity)

• Prior experience in professional liability, commercial litigation, or complex civil defense preferred

• Outstanding analytical, research, and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with high-level clients and colleagues
