We are seeking a motivated Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join one of our client firms in Phoenix, Arizona. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to grow their practice in a collaborative legal environment, with remote and hybrid flexibility available.
Key Responsibilities
Manage insurance defense cases
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses
Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel
Assist with settlement negotiations, mediation, and trial preparation
Qualifications
Experience in insurance defense preferred
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Active Arizona Bar admission
Strong research, writing, communication, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
Compensation
Salary starts at $130,000, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and potential bonus opportunities.
