Family Law Attorney (Counsel Level)
Work Model: Hybrid / Mostly Remote (Must reside in Northern Virginia)
gpac is conducting a confidential search on behalf of our partner, a respected Northern Virginia family law boutique, seeking a Family Law Attorney (Counsel Level) with 7+ years of experience.
This role offers a rare combination of predictable six-figure income, flexible remote work, and strong upside potential—without the administrative pressure or politics that often come with partnership-track positions.
The firm is seeking an experienced attorney who enjoys managing cases independently, advising clients through complex personal matters, and maintaining a high level of professional autonomy.
The attorney in this role will handle a full spectrum of family law matters, working closely with clients on sensitive and complex issues while maintaining significant flexibility in their day-to-day work schedule.
Unlike many family law roles, this position offers a lower-than-average billable requirement combined with a guaranteed base salary and meaningful performance incentives. Attorneys are trusted to manage their caseload independently while leveraging the firm’s established reputation and client base.
The office is available for client meetings, collaboration, and court preparation, but the firm maintains a flexible work model that allows attorneys to work remotely for the majority of their schedule.

Base Salary: $150,000
Quarterly Incentive:
Every 350 collected hours per quarter earns an additional bonus

Attorneys here benefit from the flexibility of a modern boutique firm while still practicing at a high professional level. The firm values:
Autonomy and trust in experienced attorneys
Work-life flexibility without sacrificing compensation potential
Efficient case management and client-focused representation
