We’re hiring a Compactor/Baler Technician to join our field service team. If you're mechanically inclined, hands-on, and enjoy troubleshooting independently, this role offers a rewarding career path with room to grow.

In this position, you’ll install, maintain, and repair compactors, balers, and other recycling systems at customer sites. You’ll be a key part of our operation—ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently while delivering outstanding service.

Compactor/Baler Technician Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to locations for equipment installation, diagnostics, and repairs

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

  • Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life

  • Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics

  • Maintain accurate service records and reports

  • Support customers with training and technical guidance on-site

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams

Compactor/Baler Technician Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams

  • Strong problem-solving and documentation skills

  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a variety of field environments

  • Self-starter comfortable working independently and managing a service route

  • Flexibility to travel and work off-hours based on customer needs
