Superintendent - Commercial Construction

Seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join a well-established and respected general contractor based in the Mobile, Alabama area. This role is ideal for a construction professional who enjoys managing commercial ground-up and renovation projects from start to finish—without the need for extended travel. Projects are local to the Mobile area, allowing for consistent work close to home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day on-site operations for commercial construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, material deliveries, and inspections
• Ensure quality control, schedule adherence, and job site safety compliance
• Maintain daily reports, project documentation, and communication with project managers
• Lead site meetings and serve as the primary point of contact on-site

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
• Proven experience delivering ground-up and renovation projects on time and within budget
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, safety, and quality standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with construction software platforms is a plus
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
