About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and mission-driven Education Program Manager to lead and grow impactful education and summer camping programs. This individual will play a key role in program development, financial stewardship, and relationship building to support ongoing funding and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee summer camping staff and collaborate with district and county education leaders
Ensure effective use of program funds and complete required evaluations for funding partners
Develop and implement new education programs (with Executive Director approval)
Create and manage the annual education program budget in partnership with the Secretary-Treasurer
Provide regular reports in alignment with organizational by-laws
Build and maintain relationships with cooperatives, businesses, foundations, and community partners
Assist with grant applications and secure funding for education initiatives
Support membership growth efforts in collaboration with Member Services
Participate in organizational and foundation events
Promote a positive organizational image through teamwork and communication
Maintain consistent communication with the state office while working remotely or in the field
Respond promptly to member and public inquiries
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Strong writing and communication skills
Experience with database management and basic office software
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively
General knowledge of the organization and its Foundation (preferred)
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
Physical Requirements
Valid driver’s license and active insurance required
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
Ability to travel and participate in meetings, events, and programs
