What You’ll Do
Build prototypes and work directly with engineering
Machine low‑volume and high‑volume parts
Run CNC and manual mills/lathes
Fabricate components, jigs, and fixtures
Assemble and test mechanical units
Modify parts and troubleshoot machining issues
Program or edit CNC code (G‑code, CAM)
Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, shadow graph)
Perform basic welding (TIG/MIG/arc) and light electro‑mechanical assembly
Keep the shop organized, safe, and running smoothly
What You Bring
2+ years running and setting up 3‑axis CNC mills
2+ years operating manual mills and lathes
Ability to hold ±0.003” tolerances
Experience with CAM software (Mastercam preferred)
Strong blueprint reading + GD&T skills
Basic welding or joining skills
Ability to juggle multiple tasks and switch gears quickly
Solid communication and comfort working with engineering teams
Nice to Have
NIMS or similar machining certifications
Experience with 3D printing
ERP system familiarity
