Intellectual Property Attorney (Senior Associate / Partner)
Location: Richmond County, Virginia
Compensation: $160,000 – $225,000 + discretionary bonus
Work Model: Hybrid (2 days remote)
gpac is partnering with a respected regional law firm to identify a Senior Intellectual Property Attorney or Partner for a growing practice group.
This confidential opportunity is ideal for an attorney seeking sophisticated work, strong mentorship, and the collaborative environment of a mid-sized firm.
Responsibilities
• Trademark and copyright clearance, registration, and enforcement
• Technology licensing and related transactional work
• Advising on intellectual property issues in mergers and acquisitions
• Trade secret protection and IP strategy development
• Data privacy and cybersecurity advisory work
Qualifications
• 5+ years of intellectual property experience
• Experience with trademark and copyright matters
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Virginia bar admission required or ability to waive into the VA bar
• Experience advising technology companies or startups preferred
