Job Title: Water / Wastewater Engineer
Salary Range: $85,000 – $140,000, depending on experience

About the Opportunity: I am seeking a skilled Water / Wastewater Engineer to join a highly respected, 100% employee-owned civil engineering firm that has proudly served the Midwest communities for over 50 years. As a Water & Wastewater Engineer, you will be an essential part of a collaborative team responsible for planning, permitting, and designing municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. This includes sewer systems, pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment facilities, and distribution networks.
Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and oversee water and wastewater projects

Conduct site visits and community assessments

Prepare engineering reports, cost estimates, and design specifications

Coordinate permitting processes and ensure regulatory compliance

Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal team members

Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

PE license (or ability to obtain)

Minimum 4 years of experience in water/wastewater project design

Strong organizational, communication, and technical writing skills

Proven ability to manage deadlines and coordinate with stakeholders
