Excelsior Springs is close to a great next step: a steel fabricator and erector focused on structural and miscellaneous steel packages is hiring an Estimator / Project Manager. It's a strong fit for an early- to mid-career professional who wants to price jobs and then see them built.

What you'll do:

• Run takeoffs and estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel packages
• Pull together bids and proposals, including quotes for detailing, erection, and coatings
• Take awarded jobs through fabrication and erection, owning the schedule, budget, and change orders
• Handle submittals and RFIs and keep project costs on track
• Keep general contractors, detailers, the shop, and field crews working in sync

What you bring:

• 2-8 years of steel estimating, project management, or related construction experience
• Ability to read structural and architectural drawings with confidence
• Working knowledge of structural and miscellaneous metals scopes
• Degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience, preferred
• Estimating software experience is a plus

Compensation: $75,000 - $105,000 per year, plus a yearly bonus opportunity and a sign-on bonus for top candidates coming from competitors.
