Employee Benefits Account Manager – Insurance

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for employee benefits? We’re looking for an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager. This role offers the chance to work with a supportive team, manage renewals and onboarding, and support clients in achieving their benefits goals—all in a collaborative, flexible environment.
What You’ll Do
Prepare pre-renewal, renewal, and marketing reports.
Compare health plan benefits and costs to identify the best solutions.
Calculate employee contributions and design strategies to fit client budgets.
Develop and maintain annual client service plans.
Coordinate new client onboarding and ensure a smooth process.
Draft communication materials and compliance notices as needed.
Negotiate rates and benefits with carriers.
Audit client data, premiums, and commissions in the Agency Management System.
What You Bring
Active Health & Life License – Required
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work closely with Producers to meet deadlines.
In-depth knowledge of employee benefits and health plan administration.
Understanding of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements.
Proven success negotiating rates and benefits with carriers.
