New opening for a Certified Welding Inspector at an exciting and fast growing company with excellent culture & benefits.

Certified Welding Inspector or Quality Field Inspector:

The CWI position performs constant floor inspection and documentation of all weld/fabrication processes. The CWI prepares inspection plans from drawing and engineering specifications.

The CWI is responsible for visual and dimensional inspection on weldments; coordinates inspections with Project Managers, Production Supervisors and client representatives.

As assigned, the CWI may be required to perform welding procedures per AWS standards and guidelines. Weldments performed by the CWI will require third party inspection. This position is full time.

Minimum Requirements :

• 5+ Years in QA/QC Environment - Commercial/Industrial
• Driver's license is required for this position, and motor vehicle records may be requested
• Can read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Welding/brazing/fusion/testing knowledge
• Familiar with mechanical codes and standards
• Experience maintaining QC documentation and reports

Preferred Qualifications :

• Holds CWI, VT-Level II, API, or similar certification (Preferred)
• Ability to work on fast-paced complex projects
• Ability to work on multiple ongoing projects at the same time
• Willing to work overtime if needed to complete a task to meet the client’s schedule or request
• Detail-oriented and technical
• Highly motivated self-starter
