If you’re just loading parts and hitting cycle start — this isn’t that job.
We’re looking for machinists who can actually set up, read prints, work with tooling, and take ownership of their work.
This is a hands-on role in a shop that values quality, problem-solving, and people who know what they’re doing.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC and manual mills and lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Handle tooling, fixtures, and job setups
- Make program edits as needed (Mastercam is a plus)
- Perform inspection using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Maintain machines (coolant, oiling, general upkeep)
- Work with shop leadership to complete jobs on time and correctly
Requirements:
- 5+ years of machining experience
- Strong setup experience (not just operating)
- Experience with controls such as Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma, Haas, or Siemens
- Ability to read prints and understand tolerances
- Experience with lathes, mills, or multi-axis machining
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- 5-axis or multi-axis experience
- Mastercam or CNC programming exposure
- Experience with tight tolerance / complex parts
- Job shop or prototype experience
