Position: Tax Accountant

Work Type: Fulltime/Hybrid

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tax Accountant to join our growing team at a Pittsburgh-based firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who is looking to make a significant impact while working in a dynamic, innovative environment. As part of our expanding practice group, you will collaborate with a team of tax professionals and attorneys to provide expert services to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Hybrid work schedule is available.

Preferable someone who has experience working in a law firm setting, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and review a variety of complex tax returns, including partnership, S-corporation, individual, trust, estate, and foundation returns, for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Tax Planning & Strategy Development: Work closely with attorneys and other tax professionals to develop tailored tax strategies for clients, focusing on minimizing tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with applicable laws. Help attorneys to advise clients on tax-efficient strategies related to estate planning, charitable giving, investments, and business structures.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Communicate effectively with clients to address questions, provide updates, and offer solutions to complex tax issues.  Opportunity to assist with complex estate and trust administration clients and gain a wholistic understanding of each client’s particular situation, and current and future needs.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple tax projects simultaneously & ensure deadlines are met.
