FIELD ENGINEER (COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION)
A nationally recognized commercial general contractor is seeking a Field Engineer to join its growing project team. THE ROLE
- Support field operations on complex commercial construction projects
- Work alongside experienced Superintendents and Project Managers
- Gain hands-on experience from groundbreaking through project closeout

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist with day-to-day field operations and project execution
- Coordinate shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals
- Help manage project schedules and short-term planning
- Coordinate material procurement and deliveries
- Support subcontractor coordination and project meetings
- Maintain project documentation and meeting minutes
- Assist with quality control, punch lists, and project closeout
- Perform field takeoffs and track labor, equipment, and materials
- Coordinate inspections with local authorities
- Support jobsite safety initiatives and safety audits
- Learn construction layout, BIM coordination, scheduling, and project controls
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Interest in developing technical field leadership skills
- Experience with scheduling software, BIM, or construction technology is a plus
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow
