A respected Maine law firm is looking for an attorney to handle plaintiff-side litigation from its Auburn-area office, on a hybrid schedule. This is a great chance to build a meaningful practice representing injured clients, with strong support and a collaborative team.
Background we're looking for (any of the following):
- Personal injury litigation
- Medical malpractice
- Premises liability
- Motor vehicle accidents
- Wrongful death
- Insurance defense or general liability defense
What you'll do:
- Handle plaintiff-side cases from intake through resolution
- Take depositions, manage discovery, draft and argue motions, and try cases to juries
Requirements:
- Open to attorneys moving from defense to plaintiff-side work
- Years of experience are flexible; relevant litigation experience matters most
- Maine bar admission (or eligibility) required
- JD from an accredited law school
