Senior Fleet Driver Manager
$90,000 - $115,000 per year (DOE)
Full-Time | Transportation Leadership Role
This Is a Leadership Seat - Not a Dispatch Desk.
An established and performance-driven transportation operation is seeking a high-caliber Fleet Operations Leader/Senior Driver Manager to manage and elevate a fleet of 40-50 professional drivers.
If you have managed drivers successfully, understand DOT compliance without Googling it, and know how to drive performance without burning bridges - this is your opportunity.
We are not looking for someone to "monitor loads."
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of outcomes.
What You Will Own
- Full operational oversight of 40-50 CDL drivers
- Driver performance, accountability, and retention
- DOT & FMCSA compliance enforcement
- Hours-of-Service oversight and service integrity
- On-time delivery performance metrics
- GPS and operational monitoring to prevent service failures
- Home time planning without disrupting productivity
- Coaching underperformers and strengthening top drivers
This role directly impacts safety, service scores, and profitability.
Non-Negotiables
- Proven experience managing drivers in a trucking environment
- Strong working knowledge of DOT & FMCSA regulations
- Ability to command respect while maintaining driver morale
- Thick skin and calm decision-making under pressure
- Highly organized and technologically proficient
- Results-driven mindset
If you have only worked as a dispatcher without direct driver accountability, this role will not be the right fit.
Compensation & Stability
- $90,000 - $115,000 base (DOE)
- PTO + Paid Holidays
- Medical, Dental, Vision
- Stable operation with growth trajectory
- Leadership visibility and impact
Who Will Thrive Here?
✔ Leaders, not order-takers
✔ Problem-solvers, not excuse-makers
✔ Professionals who understand trucking culture
✔ Individuals who balance safety and productivity
If you have successfully managed a fleet and can bring structure, accountability, and stability - we want to talk.
