Litigation Associate Attorney (Hybrid)

gpac, a 30+ year recruitment firm, is partnered with a well-established and highly respected law firm seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This opportunity offers substantive case responsibility, a collaborative culture, and a clear path for long-term professional growth.

This role is ideal for an attorney who wants hands-on litigation experience, meaningful client interaction, and the chance to develop as a courtroom advocate while working alongside experienced litigators.

Responsibilities

  • Manage litigation matters from intake through resolution

  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal documents

  • Conduct written discovery and oversee document production

  • Take and defend depositions; attend hearings and court proceedings

  • Prepare cases for trial, including strategy development and witness preparation

  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations

  • Provide strategic legal analysis and practical advice to clients

  • Collaborate with partners, colleagues, experts, and support staff

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of civil litigation experience

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

  • Experience handling discovery and court appearances

  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and advocacy abilities

  • Licensed and in good standing with Oregon State Bar
