Corporate Attorney 

My client, a highly respected business law firm, is seeking a Corporate / M&A Associate with 5+ years of experience to join their growing transactional practice.

This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions while collaborating directly with experienced partners and business clients. Attorneys here handle complex work typically associated with larger firms but within a more collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead components of mergers and acquisitions transactions
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements and other core deal documents
• Manage and coordinate due diligence processes
• Advise clients on corporate governance, structuring, and strategic transactions
• Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and advisors throughout the deal lifecycle

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed in CA or CO
• 5+ years of corporate transactional or M&A experience at a law firm
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
• Interest in developing long-term client relationships

This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys complex transactional work but prefers a firm where collaboration, responsibility, and client relationships are central to the practice.
