Quality Control Manager – Commercial / Federal Construction

A nationally respected general contractor is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee quality assurance and compliance on large-scale commercial and federal construction projects. This is an opportunity to join a well-established builder known for delivering complex projects across healthcare, institutional, and federal sectors.

The Quality Control Manager will play a key role in ensuring projects meet all contract requirements, specifications, and safety standards while working closely with project teams, owners, and subcontractors throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the project Quality Control Plan from preconstruction through closeout

• Conduct inspections to ensure work complies with contract documents, drawings, and specifications

• Coordinate and lead preparatory meetings, initial inspections, and follow-up inspections

• Maintain QC documentation including reports, submittals, testing records, and deficiency logs

• Work closely with project management, field teams, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues

• Interface with owners, inspectors, and third-party testing agencies to maintain compliance

• Ensure adherence to federal and commercial construction quality standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction quality control, project engineering, or field supervision

• Experience on commercial, institutional, or federal projects preferred

• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and QC processes

• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and maintain detailed documentation

• USACE / NAVFAC / Federal project experience is a strong plus
