Seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead pricing and bid preparation for heavy civil, earthwork, utilities, and site development projects in the Columbus area.
Lead estimates for earthwork, utilities, and sitework
Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze plans/specs
Develop labor, equipment, and material costs
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotes
Prepare bids, proposals, and value options
Work with operations to confirm scope and constructability
7+ years estimating heavy civil/site development
Strong plan-reading and takeoff skills
Experience with estimating software (HeavyBid, AGTEK, Bluebeam, etc.)
Solid understanding of production rates and civil construction methods
Stable, well-established contractor with steady workload
