Tax Manager / Director - High Net Worth

Location: Portland, OR

Overview

A national professional services and CPA firm is hiring a Tax Manager or Director to join its high-net-worth private client group in Portland, Oregon. You will work with a team dedicated to serving high-net-worth clients on income, gift and estate tax planning and lead their tax engagements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team dedicated to serving high-net-worth clients
• Consult with clients on income, gift and estate tax planning
• Lead, supervise and review tax engagements typical for high-net-worth clients, including complex individual, trust, gift and pass-through entity returns
• Develop and train team members
• Build opportunities for clients, communities and people
• Participate in local industry events and training

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience; professional accounting or related experience preferred
• Experience with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, pass-through entities and gift reporting preferred
• Bachelor's degree required (accounting, finance or related preferred)
• CPA required (EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA)
