Litigation Attorney – Tort and Medical Defense
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Salary: $100,000 to $250,000 depending on experience
A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Nashville is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney with significant experience in tort and medical defense matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex litigation cases, particularly in the areas of long-term care, medical malpractice, and healthcare-related defense.
Position Overview:
• Represent clients in tort and medical defense cases from inception through trial and resolution.
• Manage discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Work closely with clients, experts, and colleagues to develop effective defense strategies.
• Participate in case evaluations and provide thorough legal analysis and recommendations.
• Maintain high professional and ethical standards while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active Tennessee Bar license in good standing.
• Seven or more years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on tort, long-term care, and/or medical defense.
• Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
