A well-established, highly respected litigation law firm is seeking an experienced Electronic Billing Manager to co-lead and oversee its e-billing operations. This is an outstanding opportunity for a collaborative leader with strong legal billing expertise who enjoys optimizing processes, mentoring teams, and ensuring exceptional client service.

What You'll Do

  • Co-manage the firm's electronic billing operations and billing specialists.
  • Oversee the complete e-billing cycle, ensuring timely, accurate invoice submission and compliance with client billing guidelines.
  • Review, resolve, and troubleshoot billing discrepancies while maintaining strong relationships with attorneys, clients, and internal departments.
  • Monitor revenue trends, prepare financial reports, and identify opportunities to improve billing processes and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with legal billing requirements and client-specific electronic billing standards.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to the billing team while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of billing experience, preferably within a law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of legal billing practices and electronic billing systems.
  • Experience with Elite 3E billing software is required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
