An established Chicago litigation firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join its insurance defense practice.

Position Highlights

• Experience Level: Minimum of 3 years of substantive insurance defense experience.
• Practice Areas: Insurance defense and/or coverage litigation.
• Responsibilities: Independently handle all aspects of litigation matters, including:
• Drafting motions
• Preparing for and assisting in trial
• Managing client relationships and case strategy
• Environment: Collaborative, fast-paced practice with strong mentorship and client interaction.
• Billable Hours: 1,850
• Competitive salary package.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Illinois bar admission.
• MUST have a minimum of 3 years of direct Insurance Coverage and or Insurance Defense Litigation experience.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases with minimal supervision.
• Portable business is welcome and will be considered in compensation discussions.
